The Best Medicine
Is a snuggly puppy! Colin has been very sick with upper respiratory yuckiness. Fevers, green goop from his nose and eyes and coughing, poor little guy. He's been out of school all week and Cooper has been keeping him company while he rests on the couch.

Sneaky Leprechaun Tricks!
We spent the weekend at a hotel in Angra for a marriage retreat. The hotel was very nice and the weekend was fun, but it meant we wouldn't be home for St. Patrick's Day fun with Colin. Those sneaky leprechauns did pay him a little visit though. They rounded up his superheroes, put them in a bowl of water and froze them! Colin thought it was hysterical.
He tried pulling them out. That didn't work.
Then he thought to get a knife and try to cut them out.
He tried to break the ice.
Finally Daddy suggested Colin take a hot bath with the bowl to rescue the heroes. Success!

Green Eggs & Ham Day
In honor of Dr. Seuss week Colin's preschool had a Green Eggs & Ham Day with the parents. Colin loves Dr. Seuss so this was fun for him. Did he like his green eggs and ham? He liked them very much!

Basket Man
There is a man in a town on the northern coast of our island known as "The Basket Man." He makes incredible baskets and other things entirely by hand. It's amazing! I ordered a couple things but I have yet to go pick them up yet, I just haven't had time.

FYI - almost caught up!

Trip to the beach (Porto Judeo)
We took a trip to the tide pools in Porto Judeo today to catch new fish for the tank.
