| Heidelberg Weinachtsmarkt 2010 |
It is finally Christmas market season again! Strolling through markets in the freezing cold looking at all the neat goodies for sale and tasting all the delicious food...love it! It was COLD out but we bundled up and went with some friends to wander around. Aside from the cold the weather was great and we even had a little sun peek through a few times. Colin liked the market at first, but then it was too crowded for him to walk around and he was not so enthused about being stuffed in the stroller. He did get to feed the donkeys and ride the carousel, he enjoyed that part. Mostly we just ate our way through the market. Lucky for us one of our friends that went is very pregnant and wanted to eat and taste everything. She'd buy something to eat and then share because she didn't want to fill up on just that one thing and not have room to try anything else. Worked out great for us! lol We had potato pancakes with apple sauce, mushrooms in garlic sauce, bratwurst, currywurst, fries, hot honey wine, beer, Starbucks, steak sandwiches and God knows what else. I Can't wait for next weekend to go hit up some more!
