Halloween 2013

Here are some pictures from Halloween this year. Colin was a ninja, Cooper was a sheriff, Shelby dug out the old chicken suit and I was not even going to try to fit my belly into a costume. I did score an adorable shirt from my friends at the base thrift store, when it was donated they immediately thought of me and made sure to give it to me.

Soccer 2013

Soccer season has come to a close. Colin's team was called the Greenie Meanies and a few of his good friends were on his team with him, making it extra fun. Colin had a blast and did very well with it this year. For being most of the kids' first soccer experience they really caught on to passing the ball and which direction their goal was and how to keep it in bounds. I was surprised. So far Colin is pretty athletic in just about every sport he's tried, so I'm not surprised he did well with soccer too. He seemed to really enjoy it and understand the concept of the game too. Next sport is flag football, this should be interesting!

Belly Painting

The night we carved pumpkins Shelby mentioned to Colin that he could paint my belly to look like a pumpkin. Colin thought it was hilarious and has mentioned it a few times since then. So when I got out the paints and told him I was going to let him paint my belly he was ecstatic.

I let him do the majority of the painting by himself. We pulled up pictures online for him to look at and get an idea of what he needed to do. He did about 99% of it and I just kind of smoothed out the edges of the pumpkin for him.

Good job Colin!

Of course we had to make scary faces too, here is Colin's zombie face.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkins! Colin was very excited and Shelby opted to help Colin with his instead of carving his own this year. Colin really wanted a one eyed monster so that is what he got!
