Kefalonia

Argostoli

The last stop on the cruise was on the Greek island of Kefalonia. We pulled into port in a beautiful town called Argostoli and took a cab to Lassi, where we went to the beach to relax. The beach was packed, but obviously because it was so incredible that is where everyone wanted to go. The water was crystal clear! When we pulled in to port to dock the ship we saw a sea turtle swimming around in the water. When we got out to the beach we found ourselves swimming in 10 feet of water and it was so clear you could see shells on the ocean floor. Fish were swimming all around and they were brightly colored fish like the kind we spent a ton of money to buy for our salt water tanks over the years. We snorkeled all along the rocks and around for most of the day enjoying the amazing water.
