Tough Cookie

This boy LOVES the outdoors. He brings his shoes to me all day long asking to go outside. Being a ginger and all I try to keep him inside during peak sun hours as much as possible, but let me tell you, it's tough! He had been outside playing and fell on the side walk, scraping both his knees. I brought him inside to clean them up and boy was he ANGRY!

This is not the face of a scared boy crying over scraped knees. Oh no. This is the face of a feisty child trying to put his own shoes back on and walk out the door! How dare I bring him inside to clean up his wounds? I JUST WANT TO GO BACK OUTSIDE MOM!
